Simple and easy to make, chorizo tagliatelle! This dish makes a great homemade lunchtime or dinner idea!

Chorizo Tagliatelle Recipe

  • 400g g Tagliatelle
  • 1 Can  Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 130 g Chorizo
  • 40 g Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Small Diced White Onion
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Finely Chopped Basil
  • 1 Cube Chicken Stock
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • Salt Add according to your taste


  • Heat up olive oil in a large saucepan at medium heat and then add the onions.
  • Sauté the onions until they are golden brown before adding the chorizo and basil. Continue to cook the chorizo for another minute until it starts to get a little crispy.
  • Add garlic to the saucepan and cook for 45 seconds before pouring in the tin of tomatoes, chicken stock and pepper.
  • In a separate pan, bring water and salt to the boil before adding the tagliatelle . Cook for about 5½ minutes or until tagliatelle is cooked to your taste.
  • Drain the tagliatelle and add the tagliatelle into the chorizo sauce. Gently mix to ensure the tagliatelle is fully coated with the sauce.
  • When you are ready to eat, serve the tagliatelle with a little sprinkle of Parmesan on top..yum!
